Alyson who was a White House intern and an award-winning student destroyed her life after meeting a boy in college. He showed her into the world of drugs and made her an addict. Alyson now lives at home with her parents and is a heavy user of morphine and crack. She also works hard to alienate herself from the people who love her, including her own mother and sister. Alyson takes painkillers from her dying father too.

i believe that none of these people write these letters–producers probably write them bc most people dont talk like that
I think she was sleepy after the crack because she took something else to comedown from it like heroin or xanex or something.
i think the family do write the letters for the intervention, they are definitely given a format to follow though, like how they always say “your addiction has affected my life negatively in the following ways”, etc.
