I was unable to determine any emotional reaction on the mothers face. I wouldnt automatically say that she is pissed off.

I am devastated to hear this news. Chris was a wonderful person. This is a terrible surprise as I followed their story for a long time and though Chris was doing ok.. Please let Shawn know that there are people out here in the world who are praying for him and the family. Chris did not die in vain, he helped thousands with his story. God bless you all. Rip Chris.

Oh my god I am so sorry. I met Chris on August 27th at a meeting. He sat right next to me. He was in such pain. I am so so sorry. This is such a powerful, cunning and baffling disease. I have struggled for a long time . My heart goes out to all of you. Please know that I care.

WOW, I can sympathize with addicts and their families much more after watching these programs. Nevertheless I really can’t know what they go through. I always watch these shows in hopes of those happy endings. I was shocked to read of Chris’ death. I really hope that Shawn and Chris’ family can find peace. I hope Chris is also finally at peace surrounded by love. My thoughts are with you.

leticita07 You’ve taken a very private and personal matter and exploited it. Please honor Chris by removing your comment.

Chris committed suicide and was found by his partner Shawn.

  • NadrianATRS:

how do you know that ?

  • chromaffin:

I was just coming back to re-watch this episode. It was my absolute favorite. Chris was so obviously such a wonderful and loving person. It is heart-breaking to hear he gave up. I can’t even imagine the residual torment that must have driven him there. Therapy can only reach so deep.

  • muffinlover2721:
