I am a school social worker, and I can say without a doubt that I have NEVER come to know a more heads up, mature, eloquent, compassionate and self aware young lady than Laurie’s daughter. What a wonderful child. It just seems a shame that such awareness and responsibility seems to be at the cost of being able to be the child in her relationship with her mother. I wish that little girl all the best. She is an inspiration.

my favourite Intervention episode is when the teenage yo-yo champ is confronted with his homosexuality. it’s one of the rare two-part episodes, and he almost doesn’t make it, but it felt SO rewarding at the end, when he was cured of his homosexuality. just beautiful, real life drama.
