A&E Intervention – Antwahn & Billy Pt. 5 (final)
The stories of two men on the verge of destroying themselves. Antwahn played professional basketball for the Los Angeles Clippers and in Europe for over a decade, but when a serious knee injury ended his career he began to binge on crack-cocaine and ended up on skid row. Billy seeks a fix for his terrible drug addiction in many ways–he’s an IV heroin user, he steals his mother’s Xanax, he shoots Ambien intravenously, and he shoots up cocaine.

When I started watching these docu’s I never realized I’d get a emotional response, but when people start pouring their hearts out in fear of their loved ones like this it makes me drop a tear or 2…

poor antwahn… he has a lot of talent.. i dont understand how the fucking drug can be moore important in her life when he has a beautifull two dougthers.. i feel so sorry when an intervention ending like this one..
wtf is the point of these rehab programs, do they work for 1% of the people who go there? all these intervention vids people are relapsing
did he say “mom i could still have a relapse, and you a heart attack” or “mom chill relax, youll have a heart attack?” he should learn to speak up and not speak so damn muffled, home they teach him that at the recovery center
i agree, they dont even have separate rooms for everyone there, hes gonna sleep in the same room with a bunch of other guys for 3 months?!

oh man cnt beleive antwahns relapsed!!! to be honest you could tell he didnt want to go!! ppl who are addicted to something will relapse i think maybe antwah hadnt reached rock bottom yet?? who knows addictions hard man!!

ye its sad!! he seemed like a nice man too, good looking everything going for him. unfortinatly with addiction if the person isnt ready to do it for “themselves” they wnt do it for nobody mother father kids no one!! no matter how much you try to guilt trip them or threaten them they wnt do it!!i wander how many of these ppl on ntvn actually stay sober? i bet you its not alot! my friends a drug counciler and the percentage is very low of ppl who conquer it! some would rather die than get sober!

Never once in all 5 of these does billy or anyone else mention shooting heroin intravenously
talked to a mutual friend of antwahn’s last week. he seems to be clean and sober. he is remarried and has a new baby boy. best of luck antwahn!!!
if you’ve ever tried cocaine (which i HIGHLY discourage, no pun intended) it really changes your thought patterns and your moral values. You stop loving your family, and start scheming of ways to fuck them over for money. I remember being addicted to coke, and it was the worst 3 months of my life. I actually OD’d, which was when I decided to cold turkey and quit. it isn’t called the “devil’s dandruff” for nothing… don’t ever try, not even once. took a lot of cigarettes to quit……. hahahaha

hear about what?? antwahn relapsing?? it told you at the end of the programe that he relapsed after treatment and was back on the streets!!

you can’t force an addict into rehab. rock bottom is usually what has to happen first. i don;t think billy has hit rock bottom yet. he has too much support to want to quit
