A&E Intervention – Brooke Pt.2

Brooke, 26, uses prescription pain killers to control her early onset of rheumatoid arthritis. Brooke has now become addicted to these prescription pills, which often contain opiates, a very addictive category of substances. She denies her dependence on the drug and her family is hoping an intervention can make her realize that she needs help.

  • TheDaniPrive:

    i agree…i think theyre ignorant and quick to judge….its soooo easy to speak a bunch of crap u know nothing about,her joints do look bad and she does walk like a robot….and yes she is addicted…but hell her sisters are so selfish and disgusting…oh yeah all the attention went to her when she got sick…oh boo hoo…really…freakin cry…grow up…how can u even sit here and be jelous of the attention she got when she was sick …really…how far up ur own butt is ur head stuck?

  • FriendTron450:

    Lyme disease huh? Somebody’s been balling in the woods.

  • emilymayw09:

    I think the scariest thing, regardless of whether she is taking the medication for an illness or not, is that she should not be driving with all of that medication on board! I do feel sorry for her but please don’t drive with muscle relaxants and heavy duty pain killers affecting you.

  • Mobee211:

    I wish she would take the antibiotic for the lyme disease. I hope that is all she has and that the RA is not what is wrong with her. But why then would her expert docs tell her she has RA…surely they must have run some tests? Her sisters treat her like krap. Gee I wonder WHY she takes extra pills when she has to attend a family event…?!

  • fockya:

    admit her to a physch ward????? fuck families sometimes, poor girl is in pain shit

  • wylderhoads88:

    Well if she was tested positive for lyme disease then she needs to suck it up and get treated. She didn`t have to be this way

  • Quiznoss:

    yeah fuck her family, they want to see her in oain fir their own pleasure

  • seektherapy70:

    I wish Brook would open live chat room for young adults who suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis. I would be the first to join. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at 20 yrs old. The only way i can explain the pain of Rheumatoid Arthritis is to imagine a sprained ankle and think about that exact pain effecting every joint in your body.. I do not think Brook needs to be on the medications she is taking now. These medications are horrible for treating RA and considered last resort meds.

  • christy99501:

    YOu can tell she’s in pain and her family is acting like she’s doing this for attention, i mean the girl can’t even walk when she gets up. I would be taking pain medication too! And after time your body builds up to these medicaitons and sometimes you need more than normal. This is not like the typical Interventions that i’ve seen, I think her family is very selfish and treat her horrible! I feel really bad for her, she seems like she had alot going for her.

  • megankittty:

    O_o pain sucks.

  • JakeEricson:

    @nickypee Arthritis is a terrible, terrible disease. I heard the mother say “They’re giving her pain medication, but are treating what’s actually wrong with her”

    This pisses me off greatly. There is no cure, they are in chronic pain, and there is no way to truly alleviate it. She has shit family, and I don’t have to go to great lengths to imagine why she would overuse.

    @wylderhoads88

  • mpatt76:

    you ignorant f***, you know nothing, she has RA, do you? Do you know what it is? NO. Lyme disease lyme disease lyme disease. SHE DOESN’T HAVE LYME DISEASE YOU DUMB IDIOTS

  • mpatt76:

    @nakgriffin
    ARE YOU THAT DUMB, get over the lymes disease. I’ve heard from her since & she’s been treated the right way for RA – thats Rheumatoid arthritis – and has gotten much needed relief. Amazing I know, since on the right RA meds, she feels better, would those meds help lymes disease – no. Your dumb!!!!!!

  • mpatt76:
