    i’m addicted to INTERVENTION, I need an intervention from INTERVENTION. but seriously, where are the episodes that the addict just walks out of the the intervention and doesn’t come back? then we see them down the road as total burnout, loser, junkies? that’d be good to see too, it’d be more realistic.

    @MichaelPatrick123
    There are episodes where they overdose, they commit suicide, they relapse and die, they develop cirrhosis, die of starvation. The reality is most of these people know they are addicts, know the harm they cause their families and faced with the reality of losing everyone they love they choose life. The truth is not all loved ones can stop enabling the addict , not all addicts have loved ones. It’s much more complicated than a simple yes or no answer.
